Likewise, the word “membership” referenced herein reflects only spiritual unity and shall not be deemed to have any legal status under state or federal law. The Church of the Open Road assumes no responsibility for the actions undertaken by the member. The church Leadership Team has the power to remove any member that fits into the following criteria: Death; Transfer of membership to another church; By personal request of the member; The member's life and conduct is not in accordance with the Statement of Beliefs in such a way that the member hinders the influence or reputation of the Church in the community and with the congregation; Member is in violation of Church bylaws; Illegal, immoral or fraudulent conduct; Conduct determined to be subversive to the operations of the Church.
